Senior Accountant

Location: Nassau County, NY (4 days onsite)

Compensation: $110,000 - $130,000 + 10% bonus

Key Responsibilities:

• Support month-end close, journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial reporting
• Perform general ledger accounting and account analysis
• Manage bank reconciliations and cash-related activities
• Analyze inventory, operational costs, and variances
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and cost accounting initiatives
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost savings
• Ensure compliance with financial reporting and regulatory requirements

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA preferred
• 7+ years of accounting experience
• Experience within inventory-based environments preferred
• Public accounting experience is a plus
• Proven tenure, strong analytical skills, and a proactive mindset
