The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, controlling costs, reconciling sales and inventory, ensuring UAE VAT compliance, and providing reliable financial information to management. Applicants must have relevant accounting experience in the UAE café, restaurant, or food and beverage industry. Practical knowledge of Foodics and Supy is required. Key Responsibilities Manage general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and daily accounting transactions. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. Complete month-end and year-end closing procedures accurately and on time. Prepare budgets, cash-flow forecasts, variance analyses, and management reports. Reconcile daily outlet sales from cash, cards, delivery platforms, and other payment channels. Reconcile financial and operational data between Foodics, Supy, and the accounting system. Monitor food costs, beverage costs, operating expenses, and outlet profitability. Review inventory movements, consumption, wastage, and stock adjustments. Investigate discrepancies relating to sales, purchases, inventory, and cost of goods sold. Review purchase orders, supplier invoices, goods received notes, and payment documents. Perform bank, supplier, customer, petty-cash, and intercompany reconciliations. Ensure supplier payments are accurate, properly supported, and processed on time. Prepare and submit UAE VAT returns in accordance with applicable FTA requirements. Maintain complete and accurate accounting records and supporting documents. Establish and monitor appropriate internal financial controls. Support internal and external audits and provide the required documentation. Coordinate with operations, procurement, warehouse, outlet, and management teams. Provide financial analysis and recommendations to support business decisions. Qualifications and Experience Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field. Minimum 3–5 years of relevant accounting experience in the UAE. Previous accounting experience in a café, restaurant, or F&B company is mandatory. Hands-on experience using Foodics and Supy is mandatory. Strong knowledge of F&B costing, inventory control, and multi-outlet reconciliation. Good understanding of UAE VAT regulations and accounting principles. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software. Experience preparing financial statements and management reports. Strong numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet reporting deadlines. High level of integrity, confidentiality, and professional judgment. Good written and verbal communication skills. Additional Requirements Candidates must currently be based in the UAE. Candidates must be willing to relocate to Al Ain. Immediate availability or a short notice period will be preferred. Please note: Applications without relevant UAE F&B accounting experience and working knowledge of Foodics and Supy may not be considered.
