This role will work closely with leadership to ensure accurate financial information, strong accounting processes, and effective financial management. The ideal candidate has strong accounting expertise, excellent analytical skills, and experience managing complex financial activities in a growing organization. Key Responsibilities Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and reconciliations. Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. Lead budgeting, forecasting, and cash-flow management activities. Analyze financial performance and provide actionable insights to senior leadership. Maintain accurate and timely accounting records. Monitor financial controls and recommend process improvements. Coordinate month-end and year-end closing activities. Review financial transactions and account reconciliations for accuracy. Manage relationships with external accountants, auditors, banks, and financial service providers. Support payroll, tax preparation, and regulatory reporting processes. Assist with financial planning and strategic business decisions. Develop and maintain accounting policies and procedures. Monitor expenses, revenue, profitability, and key financial metrics. Support management with financial analysis for projects and business initiatives. Lead and mentor junior accounting staff as needed. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. 7+ years of progressive accounting experience. Experience in a senior accounting, accounting management, or financial leadership role. Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting principles. Experience with month-end and year-end closing processes. Strong budgeting, forecasting, and financial-analysis skills. Advanced Excel and accounting software skills. Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities. Strong communication and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage confidential financial information. Preferred Qualifications CPA or other relevant professional certification. Experience in construction, engineering, real estate, or professional services. Experience with accounting systems such as NetSuite, QuickBooks, Sage, or similar platforms. Experience managing or mentoring accounting teams. Familiarity with project accounting, job costing, and construction financial reporting. Pay: $135,181.74 - $195,218.88 per year Work Location: In person
