Security Manager

About the Role We are seeking an experienced Security Manager to lead and oversee security operations across our properties, facilities and external clients. The successful candidate will ensure the safety of people, assets, and premises, manage the security team, and maintain compliance with UAE regulations and company standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, supervise, and develop the security team, including guards, supervisors, and control room staff
• Develop and implement security policies, procedures, and emergency response plans
• Oversee access control, CCTV monitoring, patrols, and incident reporting
• Conduct risk assessments and security audits, and recommend improvements
• Investigate incidents and prepare clear, timely reports for management
• Manage security contractors and vendors, including service levels and performance
• Coordinate with police, civil defense, and other authorities when required
• Plan shift rosters and manage manpower, training, and discipline
• Manage the security budget and control costs
• Support health, safety, and quality compliance (including ISO standards where applicable)

Requirements

• Minimum 10 years of experience in security management
• Previous experience in the UAE is strongly preferred
• Experience with real estate, facilities, or commercial properties is an advantage
• Knowledge of UAE security regulations and licensing requirements (e.g., SIRA/SPSA)
• Strong leadership, communication, and report-writing skills
• Sound judgment and the ability to stay calm and decisive in emergencies
• Proficiency in security systems (CCTV, access control, alarms) and MS Office
• Diploma or degree in Security Management, Criminology, or a related field (or military/police background) is preferred
• Valid UAE driving license is an advantage
