Our client, a leading SaaS company operating out of Toronto, specializes in providing innovative cloud-based solutions to businesses worldwide. Operating remotely across Ontario, the successful candidate will join a dynamic team dedicated to ensuring the security and integrity of the company's software platforms and customer data. Responsibilities: - Design, implement, and maintain security measures for cloud-based SaaS applications, including identity and access management, data encryption, and security monitoring. - Monitor cloud infrastructure and applications for security breaches and promptly respond to security incidents. - Conduct security assessments and penetration testing to identify vulnerabilities and develop mitigation strategies. - Work alongiside DevOps and engineering teams to ensure security best practices are integrated into the software development lifecycle. - Develop and maintain security policies, procedures, and documentation for the SaaS platform. - Stay up-to-date with the Security trends, threats, and technologies relevant to SaaS environments. - Provide training and awareness programs to internal teams. - Participate in incident response activities and contribute to the continuous improvement of the security program for SaaS products. Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field. - 3+ years of experience in Security engineering or related roles, preferably in SaaS environments. - Strong understanding of Cyber Security principles, technologies, and best practices applicable to cloud-based services. - Knowledge of security frameworks and standards (e.g., NIST, ISO). - Preferably, experience working with cloud-based environments like AWS or Azure. - Knowledge of web application security, including OWASP Top 10 vulnerabilities and secure coding practices. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Excellent communication and collaboration abilities. - Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, or AWS Certified Security Specialty are a plus.
