The role involves researching emerging trends in seasonal home décor, identifying market opportunities, and contributing to the design and development of new product collections. Responsibilities include partnering with factories, evaluating materials and production options, and negotiating costs to meet quality and pricing targets. The role also includes managing product lifecycles from concept through production, coordinating with cross-functional teams such as design, merchandising, and logistics, and maintaining detailed documentation and timelines. Day-to-day tasks require regular communication with domestic and international partners, monitoring product performance, and recommending improvements to ensure collections remain competitive Qualifications - Candidates should possess strong Market Research and Analytical Skills to identify trends, assess consumer needs, and evaluate product performance. - Candidates should possess solid Communication skills to collaborate with internal teams and external suppliers, and to clearly present product concepts and sourcing recommendations. - Candidates should possess Research and Development (R&D) capabilities to explore new materials, finishes, and construction methods that support seasonal home decor - Candidates should possess Product Management skills to oversee product lifecycles, manage timelines, and coordinate cross-functional efforts from concept to launch. - Additional beneficial qualifications include experience in home décor or consumer products, familiarity with international sourcing, proficiency in Excel or similar productivity tools, strong organizational skills, and a detail-oriented approach. - A bachelor’s degree in Business, Design, Supply Chain, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience, is preferred. Job Type: Full-time Pay: $70,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year Work Location: In person
