# SDET - Python **UNITED IT TECHNICAL SERVICES** · Cincinnati, OH 45246 · `On-site` 🕒 **Статус:** *Опубликовано: сегодня* · *Источник: Indeed* --- ### About the Role We are seeking a highly skilled Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) with strong hands-on experience in Python and Selenium WebDriver to design, develop, and maintain robust automated testing solutions for web-based applications. The ideal candidate will have strong Python programming skills, extensive experience developing and enhancing automation frameworks, and a solid understanding of software testing methodologies, CI/CD, Agile, and Scrum practices. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain robust UI automation frameworks using Python and Selenium WebDriver . Create, maintain, and execute automated test scripts for web applications and APIs . Develop reusable automation components, utilities, libraries, and test frameworks using Python. Perform functional, regression, integration, smoke, and end-to-end testing . Identify, analyze, troubleshoot, and document application defects and automation failures. Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to support continuous testing. Collaborate with developers, QA engineers, Product Owners, and business teams to understand requirements and define effective test scenarios. Participate in test planning, estimation, execution, defect tracking, and test reporting. Perform cross-browser and compatibility testing . Implement effective test data management and test reporting mechanisms. Review test results, investigate failures, and perform root-cause analysis . Improve automation coverage, framework scalability, reliability, and execution efficiency. Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes. Required Skills & Qualifications 8+ years of experience in Software Testing, SDET, or QA Automation. Strong hands-on Python programming experience. Strong hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver . Proven experience developing automation frameworks from scratch or enhancing existing frameworks. Strong understanding of Page Object Model (POM) and automation design patterns. Hands-on experience with PyTest, unittest , or similar Python testing frameworks. Strong experience testing web-based applications . Experience with API testing using Postman, Python-based API frameworks, REST Assured, or similar tools. Strong knowledge of SQL and database validation . Hands-on experience with Git, GitHub, or GitLab . Experience integrating automated tests with Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps , or similar CI/CD platforms. Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, Agile, and Scrum methodologies. Excellent debugging, analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills. Preferred Skills Experience with BDD, Cucumber, or Behave . Experience with Docker and cloud-based testing environments. Experience with performance/load testing tools. Knowledge of JavaScript or TypeScript . Experience testing microservices and distributed applications . Experience with AWS or Azure . Experience with test reporting tools such as Allure or Extent Reports . Education Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology , or a related field is preferred.
