Purpose of the role You will grow Arnott’s aftermarket business across the Nordic region, developing existing accounts and winning new business through distributors, wholesalers and other automotive trade partners. You will take ownership of the territory sales plan, build lasting customer relationships and deliver profitable growth in cooperation with our European teams. Sales and account development · Develop and execute a territory plan with clear customer priorities, sales opportunities and actions to achieve agreed revenue and margin targets. · Manage key accounts through regular customer visits, business reviews and agreed plans to grow sales and expand the Arnott range they carry. · Identify, approach and onboard new distributors and wholesale customers in line with Arnott’s distribution strategy. · Negotiate pricing and commercial terms within approved limits, document customer agreements and obtain approval for exceptions. · Build relationships with purchasing teams and sales managers, and support their sales teams in promoting Arnott products. Market and product development · Identify opportunities by monitoring customer demand, competitor activity and the local vehicle parc, and share relevant insights with the European team. · Support product launches, customer promotions and trade events with Marketing, and coordinate product presentations and training with Technical Support. · Build awareness among workshops and installers in cooperation with distribution partners, helping turn product interest into sales through the agreed channels. Commercial planning and coordination · Maintain accurate customer records, opportunities and visit reports in the CRM system, and provide regular sales forecasts and territory updates. · Work with Customer Service and Operations on demand planning, availability and delivery issues, keeping customers informed and following up on commitments. · Coordinate complaints, warranty enquiries and returns with the responsible teams, and support Finance in resolving overdue payments and commercial disputes. · Manage travel and sales expenses within the agreed budget, and flag business risks or opportunities requiring management support. Experience and skills · Proven B2B sales experience in the automotive aftermarket, with a track record of developing accounts and winning new business. · A good understanding of Nordic aftermarket distribution and customer purchasing processes. An established regional network is an advantage. · Strong negotiation and relationship management skills, with the ability to balance customer needs, sales growth and profitability. · Fluent English, with strong written and verbal communication skills. · Technical interest in automotive suspension and the ability to explain product benefits clearly. Experience with air or electronic suspension is an advantage. · Confident use of CRM systems, Microsoft Excel and sales data to plan activity, monitor performance and prepare reliable forecasts. · An organised, independent approach, with consistent follow-up and the ability to work closely with colleagues across countries and departments. · Willingness to travel regularly throughout the territory, including overnight stays and periodic visits to Waalwijk. A valid driving licence is required. · It's not mandatory to live in the Netherlands for this role. Measures of success Performance will be assessed against agreed objectives, including: · Sales revenue and gross margin against the territory budget. · New active customers and the business generated from them. · Customer retention, growth within existing accounts and product range expansion. · Sales opportunity conversion, forecast accuracy and completion of agreed account actions.
