In this pivotal role, you will lead the planning, design, execution, and management of comprehensive testing strategies to ensure the highest quality and performance of SAP modules and related integrations. Duties Lead the development and execution of test plans, test cases, and test scripts for SAP modules including FI/CO, MM, SD, HR, and others. Coordinate and oversee functional, system, integration, regression, performance, and user acceptance testing (UAT) activities across multiple projects. Manage defect tracking processes using tools such as HP ALM, Jira, or TFS; facilitate defect prioritization and resolution tracking. Collaborate with business analysts, developers, system architects, and stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into effective testing strategies. Implement automation frameworks utilizing tools like Selenium, TestNG, JUnit, or Cucumber to streamline testing processes and improve efficiency. Conduct root cause analysis on defects or issues identified during testing phases; troubleshoot system problems using debugging skills in Java, C#, Python or SQL. Ensure adherence to SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle), CI/CD pipelines (Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment), and release management protocols. Lead efforts in performance testing using LoadRunner or similar tools; analyze system performance metrics to identify bottlenecks. Support mobile application testing on Android and iOS platforms using tools such as Appium; verify API integrations via RESTful APIs with tools like Postman or SOAPUI. Provide mentorship to QA team members; promote best practices in QA test planning, scripting, execution, and documentation. Requirements Proven experience leading SAP testing initiatives within large-scale enterprise environments with a strong understanding of SAP modules (FI/CO, MM, SD). Extensive knowledge of QA methodologies including functional testing, system testing, regression testing, performance testing, UAT & QA/QC processes. Hands-on expertise with test automation tools such as Selenium WebDriver, TestNG/JUnit frameworks; scripting skills in JavaScript or Python are highly desirable. Proficiency with defect tracking tools like HP ALM, Jira, TFS; experience managing test cases within these platforms. Strong understanding of SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle), Agile/Scrum methodologies & DevOps practices including CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins or GitLab. Technical skills in SQL (MySQL, Microsoft SQL Server), PL/SQL or JDBC for data analysis and troubleshooting database issues. Familiarity with mobile testing on Android/iOS devices using Appium or similar frameworks; knowledge of RESTful API testing is essential. Ability to perform root cause analysis through debugging techniques across various programming languages including Java and C#. Excellent communication skills for collaborating with cross-functional teams; capable of translating business requirements into comprehensive test scenarios. Relevant certifications such as ISTQB Advanced Level Test Manager or SAP Testing certifications are a plus.
