Your journey with us As a Senior Consultant, you are part of a team of highly experienced consultants designing and implementing SAP Project Systems Solutions. You advise and participate in the implementation of SAP PS solutions using a multidisciplinary approach to design, implement, and integrate SAP S/4HANA Project System. Tasks include solution design, solution implementation, change management, and end-user support & training. In your role, you collaborate with a multi-level skilled team to apply knowledge of best practices for different industries to design a SAP transformation plan that delivers on the client's strategic agenda. In this role, you will focus on the end-to-end implementations including defining the client requirements, analyzing business processes, and configuring the SAP system to meet their needs and guide the team to uncover functionality that may require further configuration or an additional solution. You will provide expert guidance and advice to clients on all aspects of SAP Project Systems. This includes staying up-to-date on industry trends and best practices and using this knowledge to advise clients on how to optimize and improve their systems. You will be joining an integrated offering of PS functional consultants and architects that provide services to leading firms across engineering, construction, manufacturing, and professional services industries. Let’s talk about you You have at least 2-5 years of relevant experience within S/4HANA Project System implementations in a consulting firm or similar environment You have completed at least one end-to-end PS implementation covering full project lifecycle (user requirements gathering , blueprinting, build, testing, cutover, integrations with other modules and hypercare) You have profound configuration knowledge of PS structures: WBS, Network, Milestones, Cost Planning, Budgeting, Revenue Planning, Material Requirement Planning, Timesheets, Goods Issues, and other project management activities You have a strong understanding of period-end closing topics including Settlement, Revenue Accounting (RA), and project reporting You have hands-on experience with both Customer projects and Investment projects You have a good understanding of Project Data Objects and migration strategy Have a solution mindset (i.e. what are options to solve that specific issue/requirement) Be a team player who values communication and likes to share knowledge You must hold a Bachelor's degree and a master in engineering or finance will be considered a bonus In order to excel at your job you will develop the following skills and having previous experience is considered as a plus: Certification in SAP S/4HANA Project System is an added advantage. Good to have knowledge of SAP S/4 Public cloud and BTP/SAC. Solid integration knowledge with CO, FI and MM, SD and PP. Experience of EPPM or CPM is an added advantage. Experience of Resource related billing for projects will be an added advantage. Good understanding of both Waterfall and Agile methodologies.
