# Sales Representative - Marine **Pan Asian Materials Processing Corp.** · Pasig · `On-site` 🕒 **Статус:** *Опубликовано: сегодня* · *Источник: Indeed* --- ### About the Role The Sales Representative – Marine Division is responsible for developing and maintaining business relationships with customers and key accounts in the marine and maritime industry. The position focuses on identifying sales opportunities, promoting the Company’s marine products and solutions, preparing quotations and proposals, and ensuring excellent customer service throughout the sales process. The role requires a combination of sales acumen, technical understanding, customer relationship management, and business development skills , with regular coordination with the technical, operations, purchasing, and other internal teams to ensure timely and accurate delivery of customer requirements. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 1. Sales and Business Development Identify and develop new business opportunities within the marine and maritime industry. Conduct prospecting activities to generate new leads and expand the Company’s customer base. Establish and maintain relationships with ship owners, ship managers, shipyards, marine contractors, vessel operators, and other industry stakeholders. Present and promote the Company’s marine products, equipment, and related solutions to prospective and existing customers. Conduct customer visits, product presentations, meetings, and business development activities as required. Monitor market trends, competitor activities, pricing, and customer requirements to identify potential business opportunities. Achieve assigned sales targets, revenue objectives, and other performance indicators. 2. Account and Customer Management Maintain regular communication with existing customers to understand their requirements and identify opportunities for repeat and additional sales. Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned customers regarding sales inquiries, quotations, product availability, and order status. Develop long-term customer relationships and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction. Handle customer concerns and coordinate with concerned departments to facilitate timely resolution. Maintain accurate and updated customer and prospect records. 3. Quotations and Sales Documentation Prepare and submit accurate quotations, proposals, and other sales-related documents. Coordinate with suppliers, technical personnel, purchasing, and operations teams to obtain product specifications, pricing, availability, and delivery lead times. Follow up on submitted quotations and proposals and maintain an updated sales pipeline. Monitor sales orders from quotation through delivery and ensure that customer requirements are properly communicated internally. Ensure that sales transactions comply with Company policies, approved pricing, and established procedures. 4. Marine Market Development Conduct market research to identify potential customers, projects, vessels, shipyards, and marine-related opportunities. Develop and maintain a database of marine industry prospects and key accounts. Monitor vessel movements, ship repair and maintenance activities, shipbuilding projects, and other relevant market developments where applicable. Participate in marine trade shows, exhibitions, industry events, customer meetings, and networking activities to promote the Company and generate leads. Identify opportunities for new products, services, and solutions that may be introduced to the marine market. 5. Technical and Product Coordination Develop sufficient product and technical knowledge to effectively present and recommend appropriate solutions to customers. Understand customer specifications and coordinate with technical personnel when specialized product or application requirements arise. Assist in clarifying technical and commercial requirements between customers and internal teams. Coordinate product demonstrations, technical presentations, site visits, or vessel inspections when necessary. 6. Sales Reporting and Performance Monitoring Maintain an updated sales pipeline, including leads, prospects, quotations, negotiations, and closed sales. Submit regular sales activity reports, customer visit reports, sales forecasts, and other required reports. Monitor sales performance against assigned targets and develop action plans to address gaps. Provide feedback regarding customer requirements, market conditions, competitor activities, and potential business opportunities. 7. Other Responsibilities Perform other sales and business development-related duties that may be assigned by management. Represent Unilox Industrial Corporation professionally in dealings with customers, suppliers, business partners, and industry stakeholders. Observe Company policies, procedures, safety requirements, and applicable industry regulations. QUALIFICATIONS Education Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Mechanical Engineering, Marine Engineering, Naval Architecture, or a related field . Candidates with relevant technical or marine industry experience may also be considered. Experience Preferably with 2–3 years of experience in sales, business development, or account management . Experience in the marine, maritime, shipbuilding, ship repair, industrial, engineering, or technical products industry is an advantage. Experience dealing with ship owners, ship managers, shipyards, marine contractors, or industrial customers is highly preferred. Knowledge and Skills Strong sales, negotiation, presentation, and customer relationship management skills. Good understanding of sales processes, quotation preparation, and account management. Ability to understand and communicate technical product information. Strong prospecting and business development skills. Good written and verbal communication skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and other relevant sales tools. Strong organizational and follow-up skills. Able to work independently while coordinating effectively with cross-functional teams. Willingness to conduct fieldwork, customer visits, vessel/shipyard visits, and business travel as required. Must possess a valid driver's license and be willing to travel for customer calls and business development activities.
