Sales Representative
Business Builder builds websites, hosting, and AI-powered automation for local businesses in Worcester County, Massachusetts. We are a family-owned company based in Rutland (part of Donovan Farms), and we are hiring dedicated salesperson. What you will do - Find and talk to local business owners who need a website or a better online presence: landscapers, contractors, trades, farms, restaurants, shops, and service businesses. - Run the first conversation in person, by phone, or by video, learn what the business needs, and set up a short discovery call with the owner. - Hand each new customer to our build team, then check back after launch to offer add-ons such as Google Business setup, automation, and AI intake. - Keep your pipeline and follow-ups current so nothing falls through the cracks. What you will sell - Website build starting at $1,500 with $20 per month hosting, live in about two weeks. - Add-ons: Google Business Profile, lead-capture automation, AI chat and intake, and larger custom projects. - Commission up to 15% of each closed sale, paid when the customer's invoice is paid. Example: a $1,500 website earns up to $225 in commission on top of your hourly pay. Larger projects pay more. - The full commission plan is provided in writing at hire. What we are looking for - You are comfortable walking into a local business and talking with the owner. - Valid driver's license and a reliable vehicle (local travel within Worcester County). - Organized with follow-ups by phone, text, and email. - No web or tech background needed. We train you on the product and give you reference sites to show. Nice to have - Prior sales, customer service, or trades experience. - Existing relationships with local business owners in central Massachusetts. Details - Based in Rutland, MA. Most of the work is out in the community and on the phone. - Full-time or part-time, Monday to Friday, flexible daytime hours. - Employer of record: Donovan Farms, doing business as Business Builder.
