Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and target-driven Sales Manager to establish, develop, and lead our Restaurant Equipment Sales Department from the ground up. The ideal candidate must have proven experience in the restaurant and commercial kitchen equipment industry, strong leadership skills, and the ability to build an effective sales team, implement sales systems, and drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities

1. Sales Department Setup and Management

• Establish and develop the Sales Department from scratch, including its structure, workflows, policies, and procedures.
• Develop and implement effective sales processes to improve productivity and achieve business objectives.
• Establish clear sales targets, KPIs, and performance evaluation systems.

1. Team Recruitment and Leadership

• Recruit, train, supervise, and manage the sales team.
• Assign sales targets and monitor individual and team performance.
• Motivate and guide the team to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales objectives.
• Conduct regular performance reviews and provide coaching to improve sales effectiveness.

1. Sales Strategy and Business Development

• Develop and execute sales strategies to increase revenue and expand market share.
• Identify new business opportunities in the restaurant, hospitality, catering, and F&B sectors.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with contractors, consultants, restaurant owners, hotel operators, and other potential clients.
• Develop strategies to secure new projects and generate repeat business.

1. CRM and Sales Performance Monitoring

• Implement and manage a suitable Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system.
• Ensure proper tracking of leads, customer enquiries, quotations, follow-ups, sales pipelines, and closed deals.
• Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and performance analyses for management.
• Monitor conversion rates and identify opportunities to improve the sales process.

1. Client Relationship and Sales Operations

• Maintain strong relationships with existing clients and develop new customer accounts.
• Oversee quotations, negotiations, and sales follow-ups to maximize business opportunities.
• Coordinate with internal departments, including project, engineering, and production teams, to ensure customer requirements are understood and delivered effectively.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer requirements to support business growth.

Requirements and Qualifications

The following requirements are mandatory:

• Industry Experience: Proven previous experience specifically in the restaurant equipment or commercial kitchen equipment industry. Candidates from unrelated industries will not be considered.
• Language: Fluent in English, both spoken and written.
• Driving License: Valid UAE driving license is compulsory.
• Sales Management: Proven experience in establishing and managing a sales department or building a sales team from scratch.
• CRM Knowledge: Practical experience implementing and using CRM platforms to manage leads, sales pipelines, customer relationships, and performance reporting.
• Leadership: Strong team management, recruitment, training, and performance management skills.
• Business Development: Demonstrated ability to develop sales strategies, generate new business, and achieve sales targets.
• Communication: Strong negotiation, presentation, and client relationship management skills.
• Mindset: Strategic, proactive, organized, and highly target-oriented.
