Sales Manager (Medical Device)

Lead, coach, and manage a team of sales representatives, setting individual and team targets aligned to company revenue goals. Develop and execute annual and quarterly sales plans, including territory coverage, pricing approach, and channel strategy. Own the full sales cycle for designated customer accounts — from prospecting and pipeline management to negotiation and closing — while maintaining a healthy funnel pipeline. Identify and develop new business opportunities, and build relationships with key clients, agents, and strategic partners. Track sales performance against KPIs (revenue, margin, conversion rate, customer retention) and report variances with corrective action plans. Analyze sales data and market trends to identify growth opportunities, competitive risks, and areas for process improvement. Provide regular coaching, field visits, and performance reviews to develop the sales team's skills and career progression. Collaborate cross-functionally with other sales team, marketing, business, product/principal management, and operations to align sales execution with company strategy. Prepare and present sales forecasts, pipeline reviews, and business plans to senior management on a monthly basis. Ensure the team's activities comply with company policies, pricing governance, and (where applicable) industry regulatory requirements. Education Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. Experience 5+ years of experience in sales, including at least 3 years in a sales management or team leadership role. Demonstrated track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and driving measurable business growth. Experience in medical devices distribution (preferred). Skills & Attributes Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to coach and motivate a distributed sales team. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Strategic thinker able to translate market insight into actionable sales plans. Data-driven decision-making, with working knowledge Microsoft Office (especially Excel, Power Point etc.). Willingness to travel nationwide to support field sales and client visits. Pay: RM2,861.73 - RM11,757.76 per month Benefits: Flexible schedule Maternity leave Work Location: In person
