SALES MANAGER – LIFTING & RIGGING EQUIPMENT

We are looking for an experienced Sales Manager to develop and grow our business in lifting equipment, slings, synthetic fibre ropes and wire ropes, with a focus on the EPC contracting, offshore, marine and Oil & Gas industries.

The ideal candidate should have strong technical product knowledge, an established industry network and a proven track record in industrial sales.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop and grow sales of lifting equipment, slings, wire ropes, synthetic fibre ropes and related products.
• Identify new business opportunities within EPC contractors, offshore operators, Oil & Gas companies and marine businesses.
• Build strong relationships with procurement teams, project managers, engineers and other key decision-makers.
• Manage existing customers and develop new key accounts.
• Identify upcoming projects, tenders and supply opportunities.
• Prepare quotations, negotiate contracts and secure purchase orders.
• Provide technical product recommendations based on customer requirements.
• Coordinate with suppliers, purchasing and logistics teams to ensure timely deliveries.
• Monitor competitor activities, market developments and industry requirements.
• Achieve sales targets and prepare regular sales forecasts and reports.
• Follow up on customer payments and outstanding receivables.

REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum 5–7 years of relevant industrial sales experience in the UAE or GCC.
• Proven experience selling lifting equipment, rigging products, slings, wire ropes or related industrial products.
• Established experience with EPC contractors, offshore companies and Oil & Gas industry customers.
• Good technical understanding of lifting and rigging applications, product specifications and relevant safety standards.
• Experience handling tenders, project enquiries and technical quotations.
• Strong negotiation, communication and business development skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage key customer accounts.
• UAE driving licence required.
• Experience with ADNOC-approved vendors, major EPC contractors or offshore projects is an advantage.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Engineering or technical background.
• Familiarity with lifting equipment certification, inspection requirements and industry standards.
• Experience supplying products for offshore, marine and Oil & Gas projects.
• Existing relationships with procurement and technical teams at major UAE and GCC contractors.
