Sales Manager
Five Star Furniture is looking for a driven, hands-on Sales Manager to lead and grow our Merrillville location. We are not looking for someone who simply waits for customers to walk through the door. We’re looking for a builder. A leader. A salesperson who knows how to create opportunities. The right manager will take ownership of the store’s sales performance and work to increase both customer traffic and closing results . What We’re Looking For: Strong furniture, retail, automotive, mattress, or high-ticket sales experience Proven sales leadership and team-management experience Ability to coach, motivate, and hold sales representatives accountable Strong follow-up and lead-conversion skills Comfortable developing local partnerships and community relationships Creative ideas for generating new business and increasing store traffic Ability to set daily and weekly sales goals and track performance Strong customer-service and problem-solving skills A manager who leads from the sales floor—not from the office Someone who treats the store’s success like their own business Your Mission: Grow Merrillville store sales Build and develop a strong sales team Improve customer and lead follow-up Develop local business and community relationships Create accountability around sales goals Help generate new reasons for customers to visit the store Deliver the Five Star Furniture customer experience This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced sales leader who wants the freedom to make an impact, build a team, and grow a location.
