Driftrock LimitedLondon

Driftrock is hiring a Sales Executive to bring our Retailer Enquiry Management product to UK car brands and dealer groups, giving brands and retailers one shared view of every enquiry, from first contact to order.

Quick facts

- Team: Commercial (New Business) - Reports to: Head of Growth - Location: Remote, UK-based, with regular travel to meet car brands and retailer groups - Contract: Full-time, permanent - Salary: £65,000 to £80,000 base, with on-target earnings of £110,000 to £140,000, plus share options - Start date: As soon as we find the right person

Why this role exists

Car brands invest heavily in generating enquiries, and those enquiries become sales in their retailers' showrooms. Retailer Enquiry Management gives a brand and its retailers one shared place to receive and work every enquiry, log test drives, orders and lost sales, and feed it all back to the brand. Retailer sales teams get a simple, fast way to follow up, and the brand sees what happens to every lead it pays for.

The product is already live with UK car brands and their retailer networks, and demand is growing. This role leads how we sell it. You will work with the sales and retail network teams at car brands and with large dealer groups, partnering closely with our Client Partners, who look after our relationships with many of the UK's biggest brands. You will also sell our core lead management platform where it is the right fit, so every customer gets the solution that suits them best.

What you'll own

You will be accountable for new Retailer Enquiry Management revenue in the UK, across existing Driftrock customers and new brands, plus core platform deals with sales-led buyers at car brands and dealer groups.

Your first 90 days

- By day 30: you know Retailer Enquiry Management and our core platform inside out, have seen how live brands and their retailers use it day to day, and have mapped the UK opportunity with our Client Partners: which brands and dealer groups to prioritise, and who decides inside each. - By day 60: you have agreed joint account plans with Client Partners on priority brands, you are running discovery calls and demos, and the first qualified opportunities are in the pipeline. - By day 90: you have a forecastable pipeline across both products, your first proposals are with customers, and you are sharing what helps us win with the product and marketing teams.

What you'll be doing

- Lead Retailer Enquiry Management deals end to end, from the first conversation with a brand's sales or retail network leaders through to a signed multi-year agreement. - Partner with our Client Partners on existing accounts, building joint plans that bring Retailer Enquiry Management to brands that already trust Driftrock. - Win new car brands and dealer groups, recommending Retailer Enquiry Management, our core platform, or both, based on what each customer needs. - Run consultative discovery with sales, retail operations and network development leaders, mapping how enquiries are handled today and where faster follow-up and better visibility will make the biggest difference. - Deliver demos that bring the whole journey to life, from an enquiry arriving to an order being logged at the retailer and reported back to the brand. - Build business cases that link faster response and full visibility to more test drives, more orders and stronger retailer performance. - Work with our Solutions, Tech Ops and Product teams to scope rollouts across retailer networks and hand new customers over smoothly. - Keep the CRM and forecast accurate, so the business can plan with confidence.

What you'll bring

- A track record of winning enterprise software deals with several stakeholders and sales cycles of six months or more. - Experience selling to sales or retail operations leaders, ideally in automotive or another sector built on a retailer, franchise or dealer network. - A real understanding of how retailer sales teams work day to day: handling enquiries, following up, booking test drives and taking orders. - Experience leading deals alongside account managers or client teams, keeping everyone aligned and the customer feeling one joined-up Driftrock. - The range to sell more than one product, choosing the right solution for each customer rather than the same pitch every time. - Confident, credible presentation and negotiation skills with senior stakeholders. - A structured, consultative approach to discovery, qualification and forecasting. - Based in the UK with a willingness to travel to meet customers.

Bonus points

- Experience selling to UK car brands, importers or large dealer groups. - Familiarity with dealer management systems, lead management platforms or automotive CRM. - Knowledge of marketing-side lead generation, such as paid social, search and automotive marketplaces. - Experience selling a newly launched product, where you helped shape the pitch and packaging.

Why Driftrock

Driftrock's mission is to become the world-leading automotive and e-mobility marketing software platform, and help accelerate the transition to clean transport.

We work with some of the world's biggest brands, including BMW, BYD, Mercedes-Benz and Volvo, and partner with the world's leading platforms, including Meta, Google, mobile.de and Autotrader.

We've been building since 2013, and our work enables billions of pounds in vehicle sales every year.

We're a close, fully remote team of 35 people across engineering, design, customer success, performance and commercial, spread across the world.

That means your work has a real, visible impact on our product, our culture and how we operate.

We're at the cutting edge of marketing technology, with plenty of room to unlock value from data and to help speed up the shift to electric vehicles.

How we work is shaped by four values:

- We care: about our team, our customers, and the people who see the marketing messages that we power. Work isn't done until we can prove it's useful to both the consumer and the customer. - Be that person: if something needs fixing, fix it. It's never someone else's problem. - People-first: we put people at the core of everything, and never compromise security or privacy for results. - Be better today than you were yesterday: we bake learning and continuous improvement into everything we do, for ourselves and our customers.

In practice, this looks like weekly Monday Showcases where we share what we're learning, regular retros, a budget to attend the courses and conferences that grow you, Donut coffee pairings to stay connected, and an annual company Summit that brings the whole global team together in person.

What's in it for you

We're remote-first and flexible about how and where you work, with co-working space available if you want it. Alongside your salary:

- Share options in Driftrock, on founder-friendly, tax-efficient EMI terms, including the option to retain vested options after leaving (at board discretion). - Comprehensive Vitality health cover: medical, dental, vision, hearing, mental-health support and therapy, cancer cover, a free Headspace subscription and Vitality rewards. - 24 to 28 days' holiday (24 + 1 extra each year, capped at 28), plus bank holidays. - Pension contributions, life assurance (3x salary) and income protection. - Electric car salary-sacrifice scheme (Octopus): save up to ~40%, with insurance, servicing and a charging perk included. - Enhanced maternity and paternity leave. - A learning budget for books, courses and conferences, plus time for personal goals. - Perks and discounts via CharlieHR, and a BMW Group employee discount programme.

Our hiring process

- A short intro call. - A conversation with the hiring manager. - A practical task based on real challenges. - A final conversation with the team.
