This is a customer-facing role for someone who already has experience within the jewellery industry and understands the importance of knowledgeable, personal service. You’ll be helping customers across a broad range of jewellery, from everyday purchases and gifts through to engagement rings, wedding rings and higher-value pieces. As a new independent business, we’re looking for someone who wants to be involved rather than simply turn up and sell. You’ll be joining us from the beginning and will have the opportunity to become an important part of the team as the business grows. We’re particularly interested in people who are confident building relationships with customers, have good commercial awareness and are comfortable handling and selling higher-value jewellery. Key Responsibilities Welcoming customers and providing friendly, knowledgeable and professional service Advising customers on jewellery and helping them choose pieces suited to their requirements and budget Selling across our jewellery ranges, including engagement, wedding and eternity rings Handling higher-value purchases confidently and professionally Building relationships with customers and encouraging repeat business Developing a strong knowledge of our stock, suppliers and services Taking in customer enquiries relating to repairs, alterations, valuations and other jewellery services Processing sales, payments and customer orders accurately Handling valuable stock responsibly and following the shop’s security procedures Helping maintain high standards of presentation across displays and the shop floor Supporting stock checks, deliveries, merchandising and general day-to-day shop operations Following up customer enquiries and orders where required Working closely with the rest of the team to provide a consistent level of service Contributing ideas and feedback as we establish and grow the business What We’re Looking For Previous jewellery industry experience is essential . We’re looking for someone who is confident in a sales environment but understands that good jewellery retail is about listening, giving the right advice and building trust. You should be personable, reliable and comfortable speaking with a wide range of customers. Experience with diamonds, gemstones, precious metals, jewellery repairs or watches would be particularly useful, although we don’t expect one person to know everything. This is a full-time, permanent position based in Frodsham . The shop will be open on Saturdays, with another day off during the week . We’ll be closed every Sunday and on Bank Holidays , giving the role a more consistent working pattern than many retail positions.
