Our community offers personalized Assisted Living and compassionate Memory Care in a comfortable, home-like setting where relationships matter, families feel supported, and kindness is part of everyday life. We are seeking an experienced, energetic, and relationship-driven Sales Director who understands that choosing senior living is about much more than finding a new place to live. It is an important and often emotional decision for seniors and their families, and we are looking for someone who can build trust, create meaningful connections, and confidently guide families throughout that journey. This is an exciting opportunity for a proven sales professional who enjoys being both inside the community and out in the market. The Sales Director will build strong referral relationships, develop new business opportunities, nurture prospective residents and families, lead community tours, and create a sales strategy focused on driving move-ins and maintaining strong occupancy. As a key member of the community leadership team, the Sales Director is responsible for the coordination, management, and leadership of all sales and marketing activity for White Springs while helping ensure every prospective resident and family receives an exceptional experience from their first interaction through move-in. Areas of Responsibility - Present the Community to prospects using relationship-based selling techniques and provide a personalized, welcoming sales experience. - Develop and nurture relationships with prospective residents, families, referral partners, and other community contacts. - Coordinate a sales strategy that maximizes prospect interactions, lead follow-up, conversion opportunities, and time in the selling zone. - Build and maintain strong occupancy through proactive sales, business development, networking, and relationship-building efforts. - Develop and enhance the Community's image and reputation through appropriate public relations and community outreach activities. - Provide ongoing customer service and first-impressions training to Community associates. Every associate must be sales and customer service oriented. - Work collaboratively with Maintenance and Housekeeping to coordinate seamless move-ins and move-outs. - Recruit, manage, train, motivate, and evaluate Sales & Marketing (S/M) associates, where applicable, according to Company policies and procedures. - Utilize the payroll software platform to schedule S/M associates, where applicable, so the Community has appropriate sales coverage six or seven days per week based upon occupancy, including peak holiday periods. - Oversee and monitor that S/M associates are properly accounting for hours worked. Review time clock records with the Business Office Manager on a timely basis and submit new hire paperwork as required. - Plan and manage the sales and marketing budget within approved guidelines and according to Company policies and procedures. - Partner closely with the Executive Director and other department leaders to create a smooth, positive experience for prospective residents and families throughout the sales and move-in process. Required Qualifications - Bachelor's Degree in business, marketing, communications, or equivalent experience. - Minimum 3 to 5 years of sales management experience. - Proven track record of new business development and closing skills required. - Experience in senior living, healthcare, hospitality, or another relationship-based sales environment is highly valued. - Experience in relationship-based sales of services or intangibles is a plus. - Strong interpersonal, communication, networking, and relationship-building skills. - Must have a positive Criminal Background Screening. - The Community is a drug-free workplace; associates are subject to adherence to the Company Drug Free Workplace policy. - Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license and an acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) in accordance with Company Fleet Safety standards. Driving is an essential function of this position and a condition of employment. Associates in this role are required to meet and maintain Company driving eligibility and insurability requirements to perform assigned job duties. - MVR reviews will be conducted at hire and periodically thereafter in accordance with Company policy. Failure to meet or maintain Company driving standards may result in removal from driving responsibilities and may impact continued employment eligibility for this position.
