# Sales Director **break coffee** · Carlstadt, NJ 07072 · `On-site` 🕒 **Статус:** *Опубликовано: 9 дней назад* · *Источник: Indeed* --- ### About the Role About Break Coffee Co. Break Coffee Co. is a commercial coffee service franchise that places super-automatic espresso machines in offices and keeps them stocked, serviced, and pouring. Our franchisees own and operate territories in more than 20 markets across the U.S., from New York and DC to Dallas, Denver, and San Francisco, and the network is growing every month. Franchisor headquarters, fulfillment, and our machine showroom are located at 550 Industrial Rd, Carlstadt, NJ, 20 minutes from Manhattan. We are a small, fast-moving team. The people who thrive here are hands-on, comfortable building process where none exists yet, and motivated by seeing franchisees succeed. The Role The Sales Director owns revenue growth for the Break Coffee Co. system on two fronts: landing national and multi-location accounts that feed placements to franchisees across the network, and raising the sales performance of every franchisee through coaching, KPI tracking, and hands-on support. This is a player-coach role. Roughly half your time goes to your own pipeline of enterprise and multi-site office accounts; the other half goes to the franchisees, helping them prospect, pitch, close, and grow their local books of business. You will report directly to the CEO and work closely with our VP of Operations and the operations team. This is the first dedicated sales leadership role at the franchisor. You will build the playbook, the reporting, and the cadence that the network runs on, not inherit them. What You'll Do National and multi-location accounts - Build and work a pipeline of enterprise, multi-site, and national office accounts (corporate HQs, coworking operators, property managers, facilities and workplace-experience teams) whose locations fall inside franchisee territories. - Run the full B2B cycle: prospecting, discovery, on-site and demos, proposals, pricing, negotiation, and close. - Structure national account agreements so placements route cleanly to the right franchisee and hand each location off with a clear installation and service plan. - Own the national account relationship after the close: quarterly reviews, expansion into new sites, renewals, and escalations. - Represent Break Coffee Co. at industry events, trade shows, and partner meetings; bring back competitive and pricing intelligence. Franchisee sales coaching and enablement - Coach franchisees one-on-one on prospecting, pitching, objection handling, pricing, and closing; ride along on calls and site visits, in person where practical and by video elsewhere. - Build and maintain the franchisee sales playbook: target account profiles, outreach sequences, demo scripts, proposal templates, and pricing guidance. - Design and deliver sales training for new franchisees during onboarding and refreshers for the existing network, including sessions at our Carlstadt showroom. - Host recurring network sales calls to share wins, work through stuck deals, and keep best practices moving between markets. KPIs, pipeline, and reporting - Define the sales KPIs every franchisee reports on (outreach activity, demos, proposals, close rate, machines placed, cups per machine per day, time to first placement) and the targets for each. - Keep HubSpot the system of record for both your pipeline and the franchisees' pipelines: stage definitions, required fields, dashboards, and data hygiene. - Review each franchisee's numbers monthly, flag underperformance early, and build individual growth plans with the operations team. - Report weekly to the CEO on national account pipeline, forecast, and network-wide sales health. Growth support - Partner with Operations on new-franchisee launch plans so every territory has a clear path to its first placements. - Feed what you learn from the field into marketing, lead generation, pricing, and product decisions. What We're Looking For Required - 5+ years of B2B sales experience with a track record of closing multi-location or enterprise accounts, including at least 2 years leading, coaching, or enabling other sellers. - Experience selling a recurring-revenue service or equipment placement into offices, facilities, or workplace buyers (office coffee, vending, water, cleaning, uniforms, managed print, or similar). - Proven ability to build a pipeline from scratch through outbound prospecting, not just work inbound leads. - Hands-on with a CRM as an operator, not just a user: you have defined stages, built dashboards, and held a team to data discipline. HubSpot experience strongly preferred. - Comfortable coaching independent owners who do not report to you. You lead through credibility, clear frameworks, and results. - Strong presenter and writer; able to run a demo, deliver a training session, and write a proposal a CFO will read. - Willing to travel to franchisee markets roughly 20–30% of the time. Preferred - Experience in a franchise system, on either the franchisor or franchisee side. - Background in office coffee service, foodservice equipment, or workplace amenities. - Experience selling to property management, coworking, or corporate real estate. - Familiarity with EOS or a similar operating cadence. Compensation & Benefits - Base salary: $85,000 per year. - Variable compensation: commission on national account revenue you close, plus a bonus tied to network-wide sales KPIs (machines placed and franchisee growth against target). Variable pay is uncapped. - On-target earnings: $115,000–$130,000 in year one, with meaningful upside above that as the national account book flywheels. - Benefits: Medical and Dental insurance. - Reimbursed travel and mileage for franchisee market visits and customer meetings. Location & Schedule This is an in-office role at our headquarters, 550 Industrial Rd, Unit D, Carlstadt, NJ 07072. It is not remote or hybrid. When you are not traveling to customers or franchisee markets, you work from Carlstadt alongside the leadership and operations team, with the showroom and fulfillment floor on site for demos and training. Expect roughly 20–30% travel: national account meetings, franchisee ride-alongs, new-territory launches, and industry events. A valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required. Pay: $85,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year Benefits: - Dental insurance - Health insurance - Paid time off - Professional development assistance Work Location: In person
