If you’re currently selling cars, furniture, jewellery, consumer electronics, kitchens, beds, luxury products or other high-value products, this could be the perfect next step for you. We’re looking for confident, personable and commercially driven Sales Consultants who know how to build relationships, understand what a customer really needs and guide them through a considered purchase. You don’t necessarily need furniture experience. What matters most is that you understand assisted, consultative selling — taking time with customers, demonstrating products, overcoming objections, building value and ultimately asking for the sale. As our business continues to grow, we’re looking for experienced salespeople to join our teams across the UK. The Role This is not a traditional till-based retail role. Our customers are often making a significant purchase for their home, so your role is to take them through the entire buying journey. You’ll spend time understanding their requirements, demonstrating different products and options, helping them choose the right configuration, covering and specification, and giving them the confidence to make their purchase. You’ll be responsible for: Welcoming customers and building genuine rapport Understanding each customer's needs, lifestyle and budget Demonstrating products and explaining features and benefits Providing knowledgeable, consultative advice Building value in premium products and brands Confidently handling questions and objections Following up customer enquiries and sales opportunities Working with customers from initial enquiry through to completed order Achieving individual and store sales targets Delivering an outstanding customer experience throughout Who We’re Looking For We would particularly like to hear from people with experience in assisted or consultative sales environments, including: Furniture | Automotive | Jewellery & Watches | Consumer Electronics | Kitchens & Bathrooms | Beds & Mattresses | Luxury Retail | Home Improvement | High-Value Retail You may already be a Sales Consultant, Sales Executive, Retail Sales Advisor, Car Sales Executive, Furniture Sales Consultant or Customer Experience Specialist. You’ll ideally be someone who: Has a proven background in sales or a strong customer-facing environment Enjoys working towards targets and earning commission Is confident speaking with customers and building relationships Can identify customer needs and recommend the right solution Is comfortable selling premium and higher-value products Has the confidence to ask for the sale Is motivated by delivering both excellent service and strong results Takes ownership of their customers and follows opportunities through Is positive, competitive and enjoys being part of a successful team What We Offer £35,000 basic salary - Plus uncapped commission, giving strong performers the opportunity to significantly increase their earnings.
