Sales and Project Administrator
The Sales and Project Administrator is responsible for managing projects for a particular customer and acting as the liaison between the Company and Customer. This position reports to the Head of Sales. Primary focus will be on managing current customer orders, being a first line contact for existing customers, and increasing customer base with new products. Job Duties: Liaison between Company and customer on specific projects Manage customer orders and work with internal departments to ensure Company is meeting it's commitments. Fielding calls related to customer's orders and coordinating with internal departments. Attain new customers through following up on leads, calling leads on potential customer lists, maintaining a list to track contacts, developing own list and source of prospects, creating and following up on referrals from existing customers, and following up on marketing campaigns Process orders received by mail, phone, fax, or personally from a customer Inform customer of pricing, shipping dates, anticipated delays, and any additional information as requested. Perform duties to assist customers with follow up, resolving problems, answering questions, and preparing reports Assist with creating of sales/marketing materials Provide management with accurate reporting to include forecasting and call reports Receive and check on customer inquiries, feedback, and complaints Record and file copies of orders received Keep accurate and up to date files on each customer Other duties as necessary to ensure smooth and efficient workflow. Other Responsibilities: Check and maintain list of Transit Authorities websites for potential bid opportunities Gather cost information and create spreadsheets for management review in order to respond to customer requests for pricing and lead-time Required Knowledge and Skills: Computer proficiency, strong interpersonal skills, kind and professional demeanor Ability to work as a team Ability to work 8 hours per day, minimum of 40 hours per week with 1/2 hour lunch Some travel required.
