Sales and Operations Shop Manager
The Sales & Operations Manager is responsible for owning the day-to-day performance of Gravatt Garage—from the moment a new lead contacts the business through the completion, quality control, payment, and delivery of the customer's vehicle. This is not simply a sales position or a shop supervisor position. It combines sales, customer experience, production management, and team leadership into one accountable role. The Sales & Operations Manager is expected to keep the production schedule full and properly balanced, convert qualified leads into booked work, ensure technicians are productive and accountable, maintain service quality, and make sure jobs are completed on time and within their expected labor budgets. Required Qualifications: Proven leadership, management, or supervisory experience Strong sales and customer-service ability Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously Strong organizational and time-management skills Comfortable holding employees accountable Strong verbal and written communication Ability to make decisions independently Comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on environment Ability to learn technical services well enough to sell, schedule, and manage them Comfortable using CRM, scheduling, email, phone, and basic business software Strong attention to detail Ability to identify problems and take ownership of solutions Valid driver's license Preferred Qualifications but not required: Automotive detailing experience Automotive service or reconditioning experience Ceramic coating knowledge Paint correction knowledge Undercoating/rust-prevention knowledge Metal polishing experience Prior shop-management experience Experience estimating or quoting automotive services Experience managing technicians or skilled tradespeople Experience tracking labor efficiency or production KPIs Sales pipeline/CRM experience Pay: $24.00 - $35.00 per hour Benefits: Employee discount Health insurance Paid time off Work Location: In person
