Job Summary:

The Safety Trainer will be responsible for planning, developing, and conducting occupational health and safety training programs for employees, engineers, and clients. The role focuses on improving safety awareness, ensuring compliance with applicable safety standards, and promoting a strong safety culture through effective training sessions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, prepare, and deliver safety training programs related to industrial safety, fire safety, PPE, hazard identification, risk assessment, working at heights, confined space, electrical safety, and emergency response.
• Conduct safety induction and orientation programs for new employees and trainees.
• Conduct classroom, practical, and on-site safety training sessions.
• Prepare training materials, presentations, reports, and assessment questionnaires.
• Identify training requirements based on client needs, workplace hazards, and industry standards.
• Coordinate with clients, engineers, and management for training schedules.
• Maintain training attendance, feedback forms, assessment records, and certificates.
• Conduct refresher training programs and safety awareness sessions.
• Evaluate training effectiveness through assessments and participant feedback.
• Support safety audits, inspections, and incident-related awareness programs.
• Travel to client locations and project sites whenever required for training assignments.
• Ensure training content is updated as per applicable safety regulations and industry practices.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree / Diploma in Mechanical, Fire & Safety, Industrial Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field.
• ADIS / DIS / NEBOSH / IOSH certification will be an added advantage.
• Strong knowledge of industrial safety standards and practices.

Experience:

• Minimum 1–5 years of experience in safety training, industrial safety, or EHS-related roles.
• Experience in conducting classroom and practical safety training sessions.
• Experience in handling industrial clients and site-based training will be preferred.

Skills:

• Strong presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Good knowledge of industrial safety practices and regulations.
• Ability to conduct effective classroom and practical training sessions.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and PowerPoint presentations.
• Good coordination, planning, and organizational skills.
• Willingness to travel to client locations as per business requirements.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Mumbai, Maharashtra: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required).

Experience:

• Safety Training: 1 year (Preferred).

Work Location: Mumbai (In person / Client Site Visits)

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
