Safety Officer
Company: Triplemax General Contracting L.L.C Location: Abu Dhabi, UAE Job Type: Full-Time Triplemax General Contracting L.L.C is looking for a qualified and experienced Safety Officer to join our team and oversee Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) requirements across our construction projects in Abu Dhabi. Responsibilities Implement and monitor HSE policies and procedures at construction sites. Conduct daily site safety inspections and identify unsafe acts and conditions. Conduct toolbox talks, safety inductions and regular safety awareness sessions. Ensure workers and subcontractors comply with PPE and site safety requirements. Prepare Risk Assessments, Method Statement safety reviews, inspection reports and other HSE documentation. Maintain records of incidents, near misses, inspections, corrective actions and safety observations. Investigate accidents/incidents and prepare the required reports and corrective actions. Coordinate with Project Managers, Engineers, Foremen and subcontractors regarding site safety requirements. Ensure proper housekeeping, safe access/egress, scaffolding, lifting operations, work at height, excavation and other construction activities. Monitor emergency preparedness, fire safety equipment and first-aid arrangements. Ensure compliance with applicable UAE and Abu Dhabi HSE regulations and client/consultant requirements . Attend consultant/client HSE meetings and inspections when required. Immediately report serious safety violations and recommend corrective/preventive measures. Requirements Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Occupational Health & Safety, or a related field. NEBOSH IGC or equivalent HSE certification is preferred. Minimum 3 years of experience as a Safety Officer in the UAE construction/contracting industry . Good knowledge of construction site safety practices and UAE HSE requirements. Experience preparing HSE reports, risk assessments, toolbox talks and incident reports. Good communication and reporting skills in English. Able to work independently and coordinate effectively with site teams. Candidates with Abu Dhabi construction project experience will be preferred. Must be available to join immediately or within a short notice period. Pay: AED4,000.00 - AED6,000.00 per month Work Location: In person
