This role manages a team of accounting professionals, oversees month-end and year-end close activities, ensures compliance with company policies, US GAAP, and regulatory requirements, and drives continuous process improvements to enhance operational efficiency. Key Responsibilities Team Leadership Lead, mentor, and develop a team of accounting professionals to achieve operational and business objectives. Assign workloads, monitor team performance, and ensure timely completion of deliverables. Conduct performance evaluations, provide coaching, and support career development. Foster a collaborative, accountable, and high-performing work environment. Record-to-Report (RTR) & Accounting Operations Lead the end-to-end Record-to-Report (RTR) process, ensuring timely and accurate month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities. Oversee General Ledger accounting, journal entries, accruals, prepayments, intercompany transactions, fixed assets, and balance sheet reconciliations. Review journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting documentation for accuracy and completeness. Ensure all financial transactions are recorded in accordance with US GAAP, company policies, and internal controls. Monitor compliance with accounting policies and recommend improvements to strengthen financial controls. Financial Reporting Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports. Analyze financial results, identify trends and variances, and provide meaningful insights to management. Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting in compliance with US GAAP and regulatory requirements. Support business planning by preparing ad hoc financial analyses and reports. Compliance & Audit Coordinate internal and external audits and ensure audit readiness through complete and accurate financial documentation. Ensure compliance with statutory, tax, regulatory, and corporate reporting requirements. Maintain effective internal controls and identify financial and operational risks. Process Improvement & Automation Identify opportunities to improve RTR and accounting processes through standardization, automation, and best practices. Lead ERP enhancements, system implementations, and process optimization initiatives. Develop, maintain, and update standard operating procedures (SOPs) and process documentation. Promote continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and service delivery. Stakeholder Management & Technical Accounting Partner with Finance, Operations, HR, and other business units to provide accounting guidance and financial support. Research and interpret accounting standards to ensure proper treatment of complex transactions. Support the implementation of new accounting policies, reporting requirements, and business initiatives. Prepare management reports and respond to ad hoc financial requests. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA designation is preferred. Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in General Accounting, with extensive experience managing end-to-end Record-to-Report (RTR) processes. At least 3 years of supervisory or team leadership experience , including reviewing work, coaching staff, and providing technical guidance. Strong experience in: End-to-end Record-to-Report (RTR) operations Experience in a Shared Services, Global Business Services (GBS), or multinational environment. Have supported Transition and migration process. Hands-on experience with ERP systems, particularly with SAP. Strong understanding of end-to-end RTR processes, internal controls, compliance, and audit requirements.
