You will evaluate model methodologies, analyze data, and support regulatory engagements alongside data analytics specialists. Key Responsibilities Conduct independent risk model validation, reviewing methodologies, assumptions, performance, and governance. Perform data analysis and statistical testing to evaluate quantitative models. Support specialized compliance reviews, including Anti-Money Laundering (AML), Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX), internal audit, and internal controls. Prepare project deliverables, working papers, and reports for risk and regulatory engagements. Qualifications Experience: Minimum 2 years in risk model validation, model risk management, or regulatory consulting—preferably gained from a professional services firm or commercial bank. Technical Skills: Knowledge of independent test modeling, statistical modeling techniques (e.g., regression, time-series analysis), and quantitative data analytics. Regulatory Knowledge: Working knowledge of banking regulations, financial risk management, and compliance frameworks such as AML and SOX. Tooling: Proficiency in MS Excel and exposure to data tools such as Power BI, Power Automate, Alteryx, Power Query, or R. Education: Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Finance, Accountancy, or a related field.
