# REVIT/BIM MODELLER **CH ASIA WORLD OF ELECTRIC INC.** · Caloocan · `On-site` 🕒 **Статус:** *Опубликовано: 9 дней назад* · *Источник: Indeed* --- ### About the Role The Revit/BIM Modeller – Electrical is responsible for developing and maintaining accurate 3D Building Information Models (BIM) for electrical systems using Autodesk Revit. The role supports the electrical engineering team by producing coordinated models, construction documentation, and detailed drawings for power, lighting, fire alarm, communications, security, and other low-voltage systems. The position ensures all models comply with project specifications, BIM standards, and applicable electrical codes. Core Areas of Responsibility1. BIM Modeling and Electrical Design Support - Create, develop, and maintain accurate 3D electrical BIM models using Autodesk Revit. - Model electrical systems, including: - Power distribution - Lighting systems - Emergency lighting - Fire alarm systems - Data and communication systems - CCTV and security systems - Public Address (PA) systems - Access control systems - Cable trays, conduits, and raceways - Prepare detailed electrical layouts, sections, elevations, schedules, and construction drawings. 2. Project Coordination - Coordinate electrical models with architectural, structural, mechanical, plumbing, and other engineering disciplines. - Participate in BIM coordination meetings. - Perform clash detection using Navisworks or other BIM coordination software. - Resolve clashes and coordination issues with project stakeholders. 3. Documentation and Quality Control - Produce construction documentation, shop drawings, and as-built drawings. - Generate panel schedules, load schedules, circuit schedules, cable schedules, and quantity take-offs. - Ensure all drawings comply with project specifications, company BIM standards, and applicable electrical codes. - Review models for completeness, consistency, and accuracy before submission. 4. Model Maintenance - Update BIM models based on design revisions, Requests for Information (RFIs), site instructions, and client comments. - Maintain organized BIM files, templates, and families. - Ensure proper version control and document management. 5. Technical Support - Assist Electrical Engineers in preparing design documentation and technical deliverables. - Support project teams with BIM-related technical issues. - Develop and improve BIM workflows, templates, and Revit families when necessary. 6. Continuous Improvement - Stay updated on the latest BIM technologies, Autodesk Revit features, and electrical design standards. - Recommend process improvements to enhance modeling efficiency and project delivery. 7. Other Duties - Perform other related tasks assigned by the BIM Manager, Electrical Engineer, or Project Manager. Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Engineering Technology, Drafting Technology, Architecture, or a related field. - At least 1–3 years of experience in Electrical BIM Modeling or Revit drafting. - Proficient in Autodesk Revit (MEP) . - Working knowledge of: - AutoCAD - Navisworks - BIM 360 / Autodesk Construction Cloud - Microsoft Office - Familiarity with electrical systems and construction methodologies. - Knowledge of electrical codes, standards, and BIM processes. - Experience in multidisciplinary coordination is an advantage. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) - Accuracy and completeness of electrical BIM models. - Timely delivery of project models and drawings. - Number of resolved coordination clashes. - Compliance with project BIM standards and electrical codes. - Quality and accuracy of construction documentation. - Efficient management of revisions and updates. - Client and project team satisfaction. - Minimal rework due to modeling errors. - Adherence to project schedules and company quality standards.
