This is a fantastic opportunity to join EACH’s vibrant retail team and be an essential member of one of our charity shops to maximise income from donated goods, new products, Gift Aid, and eCommerce. As a Retail Sales Supervisor, you’ll play a key role in supporting the Shop Manager, acting as Duty Manager in their absence. You’ll also help lead and inspire our amazing volunteer team, ensuring they feel valued and empowered. Love fashion, people, and the thrill of finding something fabulous. Our Colchester, Angora Park shop is a lively part of the local community, based on Angora Business Park on the west side of Colchester. With stylish branded donations and quality pieces arriving all the time, it’s a fun, energetic charity retail environment where no two days are ever quite the same. What you’ll do: - Support the Shop Manager in achieving ambitious sales targets. - Maintain high standards of display, presentation, and cleanliness. - Promote Gift Aid and help grow our eCommerce presence. - Act as Duty Manager when required, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations. - Recruit, train, and support volunteers in a positive and inclusive environment. - Build strong relationships with customers and the local community. What we’re looking for: - A welcoming, inclusive approach with excellent communication and customer service skills. - Ability to work independently, prioritise tasks, and use initiative. - Comfortable with lifting and moving stock and using electronic devices (tills, tablets, computers). - Experience in retail or team supervision is desirable, but not essential—we value transferable skills!
