Retail Sales Consultant
About the Role We’re looking for motivated, outgoing, and customer-focused individuals to join our team as a Retail Sales Consultant. In this role, you’ll help customers find the right wireless, internet, device, and entertainment solutions while delivering an excellent in-store experience. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people, learning about technology, and earning additional income through sales performance. What You’ll Do Welcome customers and identify their needs through effective discovery questions. Recommend AT&T wireless plans, smartphones, tablets, smartwatches, internet services, protection, and accessories. Review customer accounts to identify upgrades, promotions, additional lines, and other savings opportunities. Explain products, pricing, promotions, and features in a clear and confident manner. Build complete solutions rather than simply handling the customer’s initial request. Meet and exceed individual and store sales goals. Maintain strong knowledge of current AT&T products, services, promotions, and technology. Assist customers with device setup, data transfers, and basic troubleshooting when necessary. Maintain a clean, organized, and professional retail environment. Work collaboratively with teammates and leadership to achieve store goals. Deliver an experience that leaves customers confident in their purchase and excited to return. What We’re Looking For Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Positive, competitive, and goal-oriented attitude. Comfortable starting conversations and recommending products to customers. Ability to learn new technology, promotions, and sales systems quickly. Willingness to receive coaching and continuously improve sales skills. Dependable attendance and punctuality. Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment.
