This is a great opportunity for someone who is a vibrant, outgoing person and can demonstrate excellent communication skills, a proactive attitude and enthusiasm to represent the brand. Previous experience of working in fashion retail is desirable, but not required. Shift patterns: 1-3 days a week, including Saturdays. Location: Fitzrovia Salary: £13 per hour The shop assistant’s responsibilities include greeting and serving customers as they enter their store and advising them on products or services available in-store and online. Monitoring customer activities to prevent incidents of shoplifting, arranging displays accordingly, and processing payments and customer refunds. You should also be able to identify customers' needs and recommend suitable shop items that best satisfy their needs. · Receiving, processing, and organizing shipments and deliveries accordingly. · Restocking depleted or low shop items and ensuring that the sales floor is organized according to established guidelines. · Assisting customers in locating desired shop items. · Informing customers of shop promotions to encourage purchases. · Performing regular price audits to identify and correct price discrepancies. · Performing end-of-day cleaning duties. · Addressing and resolving customers complaints in a professional manner. · Processing customer payments and refunds using the shop's Point of Sale (POS) system. · Maintaining an in-depth knowledge of store items to provide advice and recommendations as needed. · Polishing and cleaning the all the garments. · Making online and telephone orders for customers. · Unlocking and locking the store and setting the alarm correctly- maintain security and safety. · Reporting any maintenance issues and arranging necessary work. · Coordinate with Head Office regarding repairs, supplies, orders, shop collections etc. · Oversee the safe storage of Shop Collections and chase customers where necessary. · Maintain and work with the EPOS system and keep all stock and information correctly up to date.
