Retail Operations Supervisor

• The Retail Operations Supervisor (Head of Store) is responsible for the smooth day to day running of the store floor at our new premium supermarket in Al Ain. The role leads all store operations, the store team, sales and margin performance, customer experience, stock control, food safety and regulatory compliance.
• The role reports directly to Management and is the single point of responsibility for the store. It also leads the store opening, from pre-opening preparation through to stable day-to-day trading.
• Supervise daily floor operations
• Lead and manage the full store operation, and take overall responsibility for store results.
• Set and enforce premium service standards across the whole store.
• Deliver sales, gross margin and cost targets set by Management.
• Establish store SOPs, daily checklists, opening and closing routines and reporting formats from day one.
• Ensure products are displayed according to planograms, merchandising guidelines and promotional layouts.
• Review daily sales, stock position, wastage and operational issues, and take corrective action
• Manage stock levels, ordering and replenishment with the purchasing and warehouse teams to keep availability high and overstock low.
• Make sure POS and inventory systems are used correctly and transactions are accurate.
• Be present on the shop floor and make sure customers are greeted, assisted and served well, including at checkout
• Train, coach and develop the team, and identify training needs.

Pay: AED10,000.00 - AED15,000.00 per month
