As we expand across our mall branches, we're looking for a meticulous, proactive Inventory Control Clerk to own stock accuracy and loss prevention at store level. Role Overview: The Retail Inventory Clerk is responsible for the accurate receiving, monitoring, documentation, replenishment, and protection of merchandise at the store level. The role owns inventory accuracy end to end — from receiving through to the sales floor — and partners closely with the Store Manager and Retail Operations to keep stock available, secure, and properly recorded. This role may also support selling activities on the floor once stockroom tasks are completed. Will be assigned to SM San Jose Del Monte, Bulacan. Key Responsibilities: 1. Stock Monitoring & Receiving - Receive, inspect, count, and accurately scan all incoming stock; verify quantity, barcode, price, and condition. - Track daily stock movements, sales, and deliveries; maintain accurate, up-to-date stock cards and inventory records. - Ensure proper labeling, classification, storage, and FIFO compliance in the stockroom. 2. Auditing & Discrepancy Investigation - Perform regular cycle counts and full physical inventory audits, including joint counts with Retail HQ. - Investigate discrepancies between physical counts and system records, and correct the underlying records. - Prepare and submit accurate daily, weekly, and monthly inventory reports; work toward zero inventory variance. 3. Replenishment & Store Support - Monitor stock levels on the sales floor and replenish displays from the stockroom in real time. - Coordinate with the Store Manager on replenishment priorities based on sales trends and bestsellers. - Support visual merchandising by ensuring stock availability for displays and promotions. 4. Shrinkage & Loss Prevention - Spot patterns of damage, waste, or theft, and recommend corrective action to reduce inventory loss. - Exercise proper care, custody, and control over all merchandise assigned to the store. - Ensure inventory records are properly maintained for accountability, per company policy. 5. Store Support (As Needed) - Assist customers and support selling activities when stockroom tasks are complete. - Maintain product knowledge and help achieve store sales targets. Qualifications: At least College level or Bachelor's degree in business, logistics, or retail operations is a plus. At least 1–2 years of experience in retail inventory, stock keeping, warehousing, or cash management. Working knowledge of inventory or POS systems and Google Sheets. Strong analytical skills — able to read turnover reports, spot sales trends, and reconcile data. - Detail-oriented, trustworthy, and capable of working with minimal supervision. Willing to work weekends, holidays, and extended hours during mall sales events. Performance Metrics: Zero Inventory Variance Reduction in inventory losses and discrepancies. Accuracy and timeliness of inventory reports Stockroom organization and FIFO compliance Contribution to store sales targets Adherence to store SOPs and operational standards Pay: Up to Php15,340.00 per month Benefits: Paid training Work Location: In person
