You Will Be Doing: -Manage the store independently during your shift. -Ensure responsible sales and service of alcohol. -Maintain compliance with the Sale and Supply of Alcohol Act and licence conditions. -Open and close the store. -Handle cash, banking, and end-of-day reconciliation. -Maintain excellent store presentation, cleanliness, and merchandising standards. -Replenish and fill shelves, fridges, and displays as required. -Receive and check stock deliveries, including invoices and quantities, and report any discrepancies. -Pick, pack, and dispatch customer orders accurately and efficiently. -Handle customer enquiries and complaints professionally. -Manage incidents and complete required records. -Assist with stock control, stock rotation, and maintaining key product lines. -Assist the Owner with planning, maintaining, and promoting key stock. -Support the Store Manager/Owner with day-to-day operations. -Complete other reasonable duties as assigned by the employer from time to time. Essential Requirements: -A current Manager’s Certificate, or an LCQ with a commitment to obtaining a Manager’s Certificate. -Retail or hospitality experience, preferably in a similar role. -Previous cash handling and POS experience. -Business studies or a relevant business qualification. -Must be available to work weekends, including Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays. -Strong communication, customer service, and organisational skills. -Ability to work independently and take responsibility for store operations. -The role involves heavy lifting, so applicants must be reasonably physically fit.
