The role includes serving customers, operating the checkout, stocking shelves, maintaining store presentation, and assisting with general retail duties. Key Responsibilities - Greet customers and provide friendly and professional customer service. - Assist customers in finding products and answering product enquiries. - Operate the POS system and process cash, EFTPOS and other payments accurately. - Receive, unpack, price and display stock. - Replenish shelves and ensure products are presented neatly. - Check product pricing, expiry dates and stock levels. - Maintain cleanliness and hygiene throughout the store. - Assist with stock counts and inventory control. - Report damaged, expired or low-stock products to the manager. - Follow store procedures relating to safety, security and loss prevention. - Assist with opening and closing duties when required. - Perform other reasonable retail duties as directed by the Store Manager. Skills and Requirements - Good customer service and communication skills. - Reliable, punctual and able to work as part of a team. - Able to handle cash and transactions accurately. - Good attention to detail and organisational skills. - Able to perform physical retail duties, including stocking shelves and handling deliveries. - Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays where required. - Previous retail experience is preferred but not essential. Pay: $24.23 – $30.79 per hour Work Location: In person
