This role is critical to achieving business objectives and requires someone with strong leadership capabilities and a passion for hospitality. Key responsibilities - Oversee all daily restaurant operations, including opening and closing procedures, inventory management, and cash handling - Lead, train, supervise and motivate restaurant staff to deliver outstanding customer service and maintain high performance standards - Ensure compliance with health, safety and food hygiene regulations, conducting regular inspections and implementing corrective measures as needed - Monitor food quality, portion control and presentation to maintain consistency with brand standards - Manage budgets, control costs and work towards profitability targets whilst maintaining service excellence - Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally, resolving issues to ensure customer satisfaction - Recruit, interview and onboard new team members, conducting performance reviews and managing staff scheduling - Maintain effective communication with head office, providing regular reports on sales, staffing and operational issues - Implement and promote company policies, procedures and promotional campaigns across the restaurant - Ensure the restaurant environment is clean, well-maintained and welcoming to all customers About you - Proven experience of 3+ years in restaurant management - Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage diverse teams effectively - Excellent knowledge of food safety, health and hygiene standards - Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, control costs and achieve financial targets - Outstanding customer service skills - Strong organizational and time management abilities - Proficiency in point of sale system - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Problem-solving mindset with the ability to make sound decisions under pressure - Valid food handler certification or willingness to obtain one Work Location: In person
