Restaurant Manager
Key Responsibilities Manage the overall daily operations of the restaurant. Supervise, train, schedule, and motivate restaurant staff. Ensure excellent customer service and handle guest complaints professionally. Monitor food quality, presentation, hygiene, and service standards. Manage food and beverage costs and minimize wastage. Monitor daily sales, expenses, cash handling, and restaurant performance. Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly sales and operational reports. Manage inventory, stock levels, purchasing, and supplier coordination. Develop strategies to increase restaurant sales and profitability. Control staff costs and operational expenses within the approved budget. Ensure proper implementation of promotions, offers, and delivery-platform operations. Maintain high standards of cleanliness, food safety, and hygiene. Ensure compliance with UAE/Dubai Municipality and other applicable requirements. Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth and timely food service. Handle staff attendance, duty rosters, performance, and discipline. Maintain good relationships with customers and encourage repeat business. Support management in achieving monthly sales and profit targets. Requirements Minimum 3 years of experience in restaurant operations , preferably with previous experience as a Restaurant Manager or Assistant Restaurant Manager. Previous restaurant/hospitality experience in the UAE is preferred . Strong knowledge of restaurant operations, food costing, inventory, and staff management. Good understanding of sales, expenses, profit margins, and cost control. Strong leadership and team-management skills. Excellent communication and customer-service skills. Ability to work under pressure and resolve operational issues quickly. Knowledge of POS systems and basic Microsoft Excel/reporting. Good command of English; additional languages are an advantage. Flexible to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays when required. Preferred Candidate We are particularly interested in a hands-on Restaurant Manager who can take responsibility for the business, control costs, improve service quality, build a strong team, and actively work toward increasing restaurant sales and profitability .
