They bridge the gap between back-of-house (kitchen) and front-of-house (service) teams while managing administrative duties. Key Responsibilities Operations Management: Supervise daily restaurant shifts to ensure adherence to quality standards, food safety guidelines, and service excellence. Staff Leadership: Hire, train, schedule, and mentor front-of-house and back-of-house staff to foster a positive, high-performing work culture. Financial Oversight: Manage inventory, control labor costs, monitor food and beverage waste, and assist in meeting or exceeding monthly sales targets and profitability goals. Customer Relations: Greet guests, handle customer feedback or complaints promptly and professionally, and ensure an exceptional overall dining experience. Compliance & Safety: Maintain strict adherence to health, safety, and sanitation regulations, as well as local liquor licensing laws. Qualifications & Requirements Experience: Proven experience (typically 2 to 5 years) as a Restaurant Manager or in a similar supervisory role within the hospitality industry. Skills: Strong leadership, conflict resolution, communication, and multitasking abilities. Basic financial literacy (P&L understanding) is essential. Education: High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field is a plus. Certifications: Food safety manager certification and valid responsible alcohol service certification (as required by local laws). Work Environment & Schedule Environment: Fast-paced, dynamic, and social setting involving standing and walking for extended periods. Schedule: Flexible availability is typically required, including evenings, weekends, and holidays to cover peak dining hours. Pay: ₹22,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month Work Location: In person
