We build and remodel homes throughout Los Altos, Los Altos Hills, Palo Alto, Mountain View, Woodside and surrounding areas. This is a hybrid role, but the majority of the position is spent onsite. We’re looking for someone who understands residential construction, can confidently read plans, knows construction sequencing and is comfortable managing the day-to-day moving pieces of a project. Responsibilities Manage day-to-day progress of residential projects Coordinate subcontractors, inspections, deliveries and materials Read architectural and structural plans and oversee work in the field Maintain project schedules and stay ahead of upcoming trades and project needs Communicate with homeowners, architects, designers, subcontractors and our internal team Identify issues in the field and work with the team to resolve them Manage project documentation such as change orders and punch lists Keep project information organized and up to date in Buildertrend and Google Drive What We’re Looking For Strong knowledge of residential construction and how a project comes together from start to finish Very good at reading and understanding construction plans Strong understanding of construction sequencing and trade coordination Organized, dependable and comfortable managing multiple moving pieces Strong communication and follow-through Comfortable with technology and proficient with Google Drive, Gmail, Docs, Sheets and Calendar Buildertrend experience is a plus, but not required We’re flexible on exact background and experience. Residential project management experience is a plus, but strong field experience, construction knowledge and the ability to stay organized and manage a project are most important to us. Because we’re a small team, this person will work closely with both our field and office staff and have a lot of involvement in their projects. Full-time | Monday–Friday Primarily onsite with some remote flexibility Compensation based on experience Pay: From $80,000.00 per year Benefits: Company truck Health insurance Paid time off Work Location: In person
