Residential Fence Sales Consultant
Key Duties & Responsibilities Meet with homeowners to evaluate fencing needs and recommend appropriate solutions. Prepare accurate and timely estimates using company pricing guidelines. Present proposals and close residential fencing projects. Follow up on all estimates in a timely manner. Maintain a current bid log and provide weekly sales activity reports. Build strong relationships with homeowners through exceptional customer service. Coordinate with scheduling, operations, and installation teams to ensure projects are completed on time. Conduct site measurements and identify potential installation challenges. Communicate project details accurately to the installation team. Address customer questions before, during, and after installation. Assist with resolving customer concerns professionally. Represent Viking Fence with honesty, integrity, and professionalism. Attend sales meetings and participate in ongoing product and sales training. Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate: Enjoys meeting new people every day. Is highly organized. Experience in fencing, construction, landscaping, home improvement, or a related industry preferred . Strong communication and relationship-building skills. Self-motivated with the ability to work independently. Excellent organizational and time-management skills. Comfortable using CRM software, Microsoft Outlook, and Excel. Ability to read property surveys and perform accurate field measurements. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Ability to pass a background check and drug screen. Must have reliable transportation. Travel throughout assigned area and ability to visit job sites.
