# Resident Engineer **Pool Engineering Consultants L.L.C** · Abu Dhabi · `On-site` 🕒 **Статус:** *Опубликовано: 3 дня назад* · *Источник: Indeed* --- ### About the Role RESIDENT ENGINEER Pool Engineering Consultants L.L.C. is seeking a highly experienced and technically strong Resident Engineer with a minimum of 20 years of experience in the construction industry to join our team. The successful candidate must have extensive experience in the construction and supervision of high-rise/tower buildings and possess a strong structural engineering background . The Resident Engineer will be responsible for overseeing site activities, ensuring compliance with approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, project requirements, and UAE regulations. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage the overall site supervision of the project. Supervise the construction of high-rise/tower buildings , with particular focus on structural works. Monitor structural activities including foundations, reinforced concrete works, structural elements, and other critical construction works. Ensure construction activities are carried out in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, method statements, and applicable codes and standards. Review structural drawings, shop drawings, material submittals, method statements, RFIs, and other technical submissions. Coordinate with the client, contractor, subcontractors, architects, structural engineers, MEP teams, and other project stakeholders. Monitor project progress, quality, safety, and compliance with the approved construction programme. Identify technical and construction issues and provide appropriate engineering recommendations and solutions. Review and monitor inspections, testing activities, NCRs, corrective actions, and site observations. Conduct regular site meetings and technical coordination meetings. Review contractor progress and ensure timely completion of project milestones. Prepare and review site reports, progress reports, snag lists, and other project documentation. Ensure compliance with UAE building regulations, authority requirements, project specifications, and HSE standards. Qualifications & Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering . Minimum 20 years of relevant construction and site supervision experience . Strong structural engineering background is required. Proven experience as a Resident Engineer or in a similar senior site supervision role . Extensive experience in the construction and supervision of high-rise/tower projects is required . Strong knowledge of reinforced concrete structures, structural drawings, construction methodology, and site inspection procedures. Excellent understanding of construction contracts, specifications, codes, and quality requirements. Strong leadership, decision-making, technical coordination, and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication skills and ability to manage contractors and multidisciplinary project teams. UAE/GCC experience is highly preferred. Knowledge of UAE authority requirements and construction regulations is preferred. UAE driving license is preferred. Why Join Us?
