# Research Assistant **PERSOL** · Outram · `On-site` 🕒 **Статус:** *Опубликовано: 3 дня назад* · *Источник: Indeed* --- ### About the Role Position: Research Assistant x2 Work Location: Novena/Kent Ridge (Rotate) Contract: 12 Month (Govt, Non-renewable) About the Role The Research Assistants will also support survey administration, data collection and management, research coordination, and other day-to-day activities required for the timely implementation of the study. Key Responsibilities Conduct outreach and recruitment activities in community settings, recreation centres, dormitories and other locations frequented by migrant workers. Recruit eligible participants and support their enrolment into the study. Maintain regular communication and engagement with study participants throughout the study period. Assist with participant scheduling, follow-up and retention activities. Support data collection activities, including administering surveys and facilitating interviews or focus group discussions where required. Provide language support and cultural insights to facilitate effective engagement with migrant worker communities. Assist with data management, documentation and other research administration. Support day-to-day study operations and other research-related activities as assigned. Work closely with the research team and relevant community partners to ensure smooth and timely implementation of study activities. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Social Sciences, Public Health, Psychology, Sociology, Social Work, Communications , or a related field. Strong interest in migrant worker issues, public health, community engagement or research involving vulnerable populations. Experience working with community organisations, migrant worker communities, non-profit organisations or outreach programmes is advantageous. Experience conducting surveys, interviews, focus group discussions or other community-based research activities is desirable. Excellent interpersonal, communication and relationship-building skills. Able to work independently, take initiative and adapt to changing project needs. Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends where necessary , to accommodate participants' schedules. Preferred Attributes Familiarity with the migrant worker landscape in Singapore. Existing networks or experience engaging migrant worker communities. Ability to build trust and rapport with participants from diverse cultural backgrounds. Strong organisational, coordination and record-keeping skills.
