About the Role We are seeking a highly motivated and intellectually curious Research Analyst to support our team in macroeconomic, capital market, and industry research . This role involves analyzing macro trends, tracking industry developments, conducting company research, and synthesizing complex information into clear and actionable insights for senior management. The ideal candidate is analytical, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment across multiple sectors. Strong communication skills in both English and Mandarin are essential, as the role involves reviewing bilingual materials and preparing research outputs for both internal discussions and external presentations. Key Responsibilities · Macro & Policy Research: Monitor macroeconomic trends, regulatory developments, and structural shifts impacting China and global markets. · Capital Market Research: Track fundraising activity, market trends, valuation dynamics, and broader capital market developments. · Industry and Company Research: Conduct research on industries, emerging technologies, competitive landscapes, and company developments to support the identification of key trends. · Research Outputs: Prepare reports, dashboards, and presentations to summarize findings and recommendations. · Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams to integrate research insights into projects and initiatives. · Information Monitoring: Maintain ongoing coverage of relevant news flow, policy updates, and market developments across priority sectors. Qualifications · Bachelor’s degree or above in Economics, Finance, Business, or a related discipline. · 1–2 years of experience in research, consulting, investment, strategy, or other analytical roles. Fresh graduates are welcomed to apply too. · Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to synthesize complex information into clear insights. · Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Mandarin. · Solid understanding of macroeconomics, capital markets, and industry dynamics. · Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and research/data platforms. · Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
