This role acts as the central coordination point between Engineering, QA, DevOps, Infrastructure, and Business teams, ensuring controlled deployments, environment availability, and effective risk management throughout the software delivery lifecycle. Key Responsibilities Environment Management Own the health, availability, and operational readiness of Development, SIT, UAT, Performance, Path-to-Production, and Production environments. Maintain environment mappings and alignment across project and product teams to support delivery requirements. Govern and coordinate shared environments spanning WCS, OMS, Microservices (MDS, Core Systems, Lambdas), Micro Frontends (MFE), Search (Fredhopper), Middleware, AppConnect, IIB, and integration layers. Manage the environment booking calendar, proactively resolving scheduling conflicts and resource contention. Ensure timely data refreshes, configuration management, and version consistency across environments. Monitor environment stability and escalate risks that may impact testing, deployment, or release readiness. Publish and communicate daily environment health and status reports to stakeholders. Release Planning & Execution Maintain and govern the consolidated release calendar across projects and production releases. Define, implement, and enforce release governance, including entry and exit criteria, quality gates, and Go/No-Go checkpoints. Ensure all release artefacts are complete and reviewed, including deployment plans, rollback procedures, release notes, and operational runbooks. Coordinate Business-as-Usual (BAU), project, and emergency releases through structured planning and communication. Drive release readiness reviews and ensure successful execution with minimal disruption to business operations. Governance & Risk Management Ensure compliance with Change Management and CAB (Change Advisory Board) processes. Identify, assess, and mitigate risks related to environment conflicts, deployment dependencies, system integrations, and release schedules. Lead coordination of Root Cause Analysis (RCA) activities for environment or release-related incidents and track corrective actions to closure. Promote continuous improvement through post-release reviews and governance best practices. Cross-Functional Coordination Serve as the primary coordination and communication point across Engineering, QA, DevOps, Infrastructure, Product, and Business teams. Manage upstream and downstream dependencies to enable successful integrated releases. Escalate blockers and risks impacting release timelines, testing activities, or environment availability. Facilitate regular governance meetings with technical leads, delivery leads, QA teams, and other stakeholders to review environment utilization, release schedules, and conflict resolution.
