This position is ideal for a professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about helping individuals and families navigate Canadian immigration pathways. The successful candidate will manage a variety of temporary and permanent residence applications while ensuring full compliance with current immigration regulations. Key Responsibilities Provide personalized consultations to clients regarding Canadian immigration programs, eligibility criteria, and documentation requirements. Prepare, review, and submit a wide range of immigration applications with precision and strong attention to detail. Process Temporary Resident applications including: Study Permits Visitor Visas (TRV) Visitor Records Spousal Open Work Permits Employer-specific and Open Work Permits Manage Permanent Residence applications, including: Express Entry (CEC, FSW, FST) Provincial Nominee Programs (BC PNP, OINP, Nova Scotia Nominee Program, and other PNP streams as applicable) Prepare and assist with Labour Market Impact Assessment (LMIA) applications and employer compliance documentation. Conduct in-depth case assessments to determine eligibility and develop strategic immigration pathways tailored to client goals. Maintain organized and confidential client records using CRM systems and document management tools. Communicate with IRCC, provincial authorities, and other regulatory bodies regarding application status and compliance matters. Monitor policy updates and legislative changes to ensure accurate and up-to-date client advice. Deliver exceptional client service by responding promptly and professionally to inquiries. Support internal administrative operations including file management, reporting, scheduling, and workflow tracking. Participate in educational workshops, seminars, or community outreach events when required. Qualifications & Skills Fluency in both English and French (written and verbal) is required. Strong knowledge of Canadian immigration programs, including PR pathways, PNP streams, TRV categories, and LMIA processes. Excellent written communication skills with the ability to prepare detailed submissions and supporting letters. High level of organization with the ability to manage multiple active cases simultaneously. Strong analytical skills to assess documentation and identify potential risks or gaps. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and familiarity with SharePoint and case management systems. Ability to work independently while contributing positively to a collaborative team environment. Professional demeanor with strong interpersonal and client service skills. Preferred but not mandatory: Prior experience in an immigration firm or legal office. Knowledge of compliance procedures and employer-sponsored programs.
