We are looking for an ambitious and capable Registered Manager to take responsibility for care delivery, quality and compliance within our established, privately-owned CQC Outstanding-rated home care company . This is an important leadership role at the heart of our business. You will lead our Client Services and Care Teams, oversee the quality of care delivered to our clients and ensure we continue to meet the highest regulatory and professional standards. Working closely with the Managing Director and as part of the Senior Management Team, you will also have the opportunity to contribute to the continued growth and development of the business. About the Role As Registered Manager, you will take day-to-day responsibility for the quality and compliance of our care service. You will oversee the client journey from initial assessment and care planning through to ongoing reviews, ensuring our documentation, medication processes and care practices are consistently maintained to a high standard. You will lead and develop the Client Services and Care Teams, setting clear expectations, managing workloads and creating a positive culture where people feel supported, accountable and proud of the care they provide. Continuous improvement is important to us. You will be encouraged to identify better ways of working and champion the effective use of our systems, automation, digital tools and AI where these can reduce administration, improve accuracy and give our team more time to focus on clients. Key Responsibilities Take responsibility for the consistent delivery of high-quality care Oversee new client assessments, care planning, reviews and medication processes Ensure care documentation is accurate, up to date and regularly audited Maintain compliance with CQC requirements, company policies and regulatory standards Lead preparation for CQC inspections and support our continued drive to maintain our Outstanding rating Oversee internal audits and ensure actions and improvements are followed through Lead, support and develop the Client Services and Care Teams Set clear expectations, manage workloads and hold team members accountable for performance Work alongside HR to support recruitment, retention and disciplinary processes Monitor mandatory training and HR compliance Build effective relationships with other health and social care professionals Provide meaningful KPIs, analysis and management information Champion continuous improvement in quality and operational efficiency Make effective use of technology, automation and AI to improve how the team works Contribute to the leadership, growth and strategic development of the business Provide management and clinical backup as part of our out-of-hours (OOH) rota About You We are looking for someone who combines strong care-sector knowledge with excellent leadership and operational skills. You will be organised, confident making decisions and comfortable taking responsibility for both people and service quality. Just as importantly, you will be someone who wants to develop a great team and continually look for ways to improve the service we provide. You will have: Relevant management experience within domiciliary care, reablement, intermediate care or a similar community-based service Registered Manager status or a clear ambition to progress into Registered Manager status A degree, NVQ Level 5 or equivalent qualification Experience managing and developing teams The ability to set clear expectations, delegate effectively and hold people accountable Strong operational and organisational skills Excellent communication and leadership abilities Sound judgement and excellent attention to detail The ability to work accurately and make good decisions under pressure Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel and Outlook A positive and proactive approach to technology and digital working, including an interest in using AI where it can add genuine value A full UK driving licence and access to a car for work Working Hours This is a 37.5-hour-per-week, Monday-to-Friday role , with office coverage operating between 7:00am and 6:00pm through a rotational shift pattern. As our carers support clients in the community seven days a week, the Registered Manager also participates in providing management and clinical backup to our out-of-hours (OOH) team. This support is provided from home and attracts additional on-call payments .
