This is a field-based leadership role with responsibility for a regional team, client relationships, and day-to-day service delivery across a portfolio of commercial and residential contracts. If you have a background in roofing, building maintenance, or construction operations and are ready to take ownership of a region, we want to hear from you. The Role As Regional Operations Manager, you'll oversee the planning, delivery, and quality of all roofing maintenance and repair work across the Northwest region, managing a team of operatives to ensure jobs are completed safely, on time, and to a high standard. Key Responsibilities Manage the day-to-day operations of roofing maintenance and repair contracts across the Northwest region Lead, coach, and develop a team of operatives Plan and schedule works to meet client SLAs and response time targets Own regional budgets, cost control, and P&L performance Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction Ensure all work is carried out in line with health & safety legislation, particularly Working at Height Regulations Monitor job quality through site visits and audits, resolving issues quickly and effectively Report on regional performance, including KPIs, job completion rates, and financial results Support recruitment, onboarding, and training of regional operational staff Hold day-to-day responsibility for people management across the region, including performance, absence, and development of direct reports What We're Looking For Proven experience in a management role within roofing, building maintenance, facilities management, or construction Experience managing multi-site or regional field operations, ideally with direct reports and subcontractor teams Strong working knowledge of health & safety requirements, including Working at Height Regulations (IOSH/NEBOSH desirable) Commercially minded, with experience managing budgets, costs, and contract performance Demonstrable previous experience of people management, including managing performance, appraisals, and staff development Strong communication skills, with the confidence to manage client relationships at all levels Comfortable using job management/scheduling software and standard IT systems Full UK driving licence, with willingness to travel across the region What We Offer Salary: £45,000 – £50,000, dependent on experience Company vehicle 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays Pension scheme Ongoing training and development The opportunity to shape and grow a regional operation Location This role covers the North West of England, with regular travel to sites across the region.
