Regional Manager Orthodontics Operations
TEN Coaching and Advisory has been retained by our client, Brite Orthodontics, to help find a talented Regional Manager for their Orthodontic Operations! Location: Field-based, supporting Brite Orthodontics locations across New York and Maryland https://www.briteorthodontics.com/locations/ Travel: Approximately 40–50%. With multiple locations across New York and Maryland, we are seeking an experienced Regional Manager to lead multi-site operations, develop high-performing teams, and drive sustainable practice growth. This leader will serve as the operational bridge between executive leadership and our practice teams, ensuring that every Brite location delivers an exceptional patient and employee experience. What You’ll Do Lead Multi-Site Operations Oversee day-to-day operations across assigned Brite Orthodontics locations in New York and Maryland. Partner with orthodontists and practice leaders to optimize scheduling, patient flow, staffing, and clinical workflows. Establish consistent operating standards while addressing the individual needs of each practice and community. Conduct regular site visits, operational assessments, and leadership meetings. Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable New York and Maryland regulations. Drive Practice Growth Monitor and improve key performance indicators, including new-patient consultations, case acceptance, case starts, same-day starts, collections, production, and patient retention. Develop action plans that support revenue, profitability, and patient-growth goals. Strengthen treatment-coordinator performance through coaching, observation, and conversion analysis. Oversee patient financial processes, including insurance verification, payment-plan presentation, accounts receivable, and collections. Identify growth opportunities and remove operational barriers that affect the patient journey. Develop High-Performing Teams Recruit, onboard, coach, and mentor Practice Managers, Treatment Coordinators, and support team members. Build a positive, accountable culture grounded in Brite Orthodontics’ commitment to loving and serving people. Set clear expectations and provide regular feedback, recognition, and professional-development support. Conduct performance reviews and help practice leaders create meaningful improvement plans. Address operational and interpersonal challenges promptly, fairly, and constructively. Support employee engagement, leadership development, and retention across the region. Deliver an Exceptional Patient Experience Ensure every practice provides a welcoming, efficient, and personalized experience from the first consultation through treatment completion. Review patient feedback and implement improvements that strengthen satisfaction and loyalty. Help teams communicate treatment options, insurance benefits, and flexible financial solutions clearly and compassionately. Champion consistent service standards that reflect the Brite Orthodontics brand. Manage Financial and Business Performance Partner with executive leadership to develop and manage practice budgets, forecasts, and regional goals. Review profit-and-loss performance and implement plans to improve productivity and profitability. Monitor labor, supplies, collections, and other operating expenses. Provide leadership with timely, accurate reporting on results, risks, and opportunities. What You Bring At least 2–3 years of successful multi-site, multi-unit, or regional management experience in healthcare. Orthodontic or dental-group experience strongly preferred; DSO experience is a plus. Demonstrated success improving practice performance, developing leaders, and achieving growth targets. Strong knowledge of orthodontic workflows, treatment coordination, patient financing, insurance processes, and collections. Working knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, and P&L management. Familiarity with orthodontic practice-management and financial platforms such as OrthoFi, Dolphin, or Cloud 9. Strong leadership, communication, coaching, conflict-resolution, and analytical skills. Ability to balance strategic priorities with hands-on operational support. Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, business administration, or a related discipline preferred; equivalent operational experience will be considered. Residence within reasonable reach of Brite Orthodontics’ New York and Maryland footprint. Ability to travel approximately 40–50%, including regular visits to clinical locations.
