Regional Buyer

Our client food production company is looking for Regional Buyer

Responsibilities:

• Capture real savings for the Ingredients (aroma chemicals, aroma components) (Direct Materials) categories across the organization
• Lead Vendor search, selection and negotiation process
• Monitors performances of vendors and the compliance with guidelines
• Develop and implement sourcing strategies for key spend categories
• Track performance within each spend category and define budgetary impact
• Keep constant analysis of spend data and cost models for continues improvement
• Monitor strategy implementation and contract compliance
• Lead supplier relationship management to continually identify process improvements and cost reduction opportunities
• Monitor and forecast upcoming risks
• Drive best practices
• Provide assistance to acquisition strategies by completing due diligence and integration activities for spend
• Uphold internal and external policies, regulations and laws.
• Close collaboration with Regulatory, RDA, Logistics, Planning and Sales.

Qualifications:

• At least 2 - 3 years’ experience in the procurement area in an international company
• Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills (multiple complex analyses simultaneously)
• Knowledge of risk management with the ability to identify and address anticipated issues
• Good planning and project management skills
• Strong negotiating skills.
• Superior communication and interpersonal skills
• Passion for reducing costs and a track record of success in this area

• Ability to work effectively with many requirements, under time pressure and meeting deadlines
