Recruitment Supervisor
Job description: Akari Lighting is looking for a Recruitment Supervisor. She/he is responsible for overseeing the end-to-end recruitment process, ensuring the timely and effective hiring of qualified candidates to meet organizational staffing requirements. This role supervises recruitment staff, develops sourcing strategies, manages recruitment metrics, and collaborates with hiring managers to achieve hiring goals. Key Responsibilities Supervise and lead the recruitment team in daily hiring activities. Manage the full recruitment cycle, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, selection, and onboarding coordination. Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract qualified candidates. Build and maintain talent pipelines for current and future hiring needs. Coordinate with department heads and hiring managers regarding manpower requirements and recruitment plans. Monitor recruitment performance metrics such as time-to-fill, cost-per-hire, and hiring success rates. Ensure compliance with company policies, labor laws, and recruitment standards. Establish and maintain partnerships with universities, job portals, recruitment agencies, and other talent sources. Conduct interviews for supervisory, managerial, and specialized positions as needed. Prepare and submit recruitment reports and workforce planning updates to management. Train, coach, and evaluate recruitment team members to improve performance and productivity. Support employer branding initiatives and recruitment marketing activities. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration, or a related field. At least 3–5 years of experience in recruitment and talent acquisition, with 1–2 years in a supervisory or leadership role. Strong knowledge of recruitment processes, sourcing techniques, and interviewing methods. Experience in volume hiring and strategic recruitment planning is an advantage. Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), HRIS, and online recruitment platforms. Excellent leadership, communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Ability to manage multiple hiring requirements and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge of Philippine labor laws and employment regulations is preferred. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Experience in recruitment for multiple business functions and levels. Background in manpower agencies, corporate recruitment, or shared services environments.
